I’ve made six out of (hopefully) fifteen (or more?) pieces of art for the P4A art perks so far!
1) John and Hank as Among Us characters. John has the hunter’s hat (because Holden Caulfield) and the darker green. I feel like having the bigger hat would be important to him, lol. Hank has a plant hat because SCIENCE. They both look pretty sus.
2) By my count, there are over 10,000 tiny circles in the 4”x6” piece with the heart. This is a reference to John’s project of drawing 200,000 circles to represent the 200,000 lives lost to COVID-19. That number has since grown, unfortunately. My circles don’t represent anything except John’s circles.
3) “She was lookin’ kinda dumb with her finger and her thumb in the shape of an L on her forehead.” The words are from the title of Hank’s video on October 2, 2020.
4) An Absolutely Remarkable Thing aka an ART feat. Carls (I made a stamp)
5) leaf drawing with a (relatable) quote from one of Hank’s tiktoks
6/7) A portrait of how I imagine John’s desk looks. 3 wads of paper, 3 dead flies, 5 peanut m&ms, 2 crushed cans of Diet Dr. Pepper, 2 green sharpies, 1 cup of coffee, 1 Rubik’s cube, 1 pair of scissors, 1 Peeps mask, 1 pair of glasses, 1 book from Life’s Library (marked with post-it notes), a plate with a 1/3 eaten piece of pepperoni pizza, a piece of paper with a bunch of circles, a piece of paper with John’s J-scribble (as close as I could get), a laptop, a smart phone open to YouTube videos with Keanu Reeves, and post-it notes which say the following:
- “Harvey”
- a pokeball (presumably drawn by Henry)
- “sort bath bombs”
- “James Whitcomb Riley”
-“buy champagne”
- a spiral
- “More Light Than Heat?”
- “sock club?”
- “hope is the thing with feathers”
Over the top, you should kind of be able to see “#trashblind” in clear embossing powder/ink. That’s a callback to a concept that really resonated with me from Dear Hank and John episode 203.

Do you ever feel like your entire life is just a liminal space? Like you’re floating in what is supposed to be a transition period but there was nothing before that and nothing will be after and you’re just…permanently in this state of confusion and ambivalence???
